Process Manager

(Shell) has developed a global network of Shell Shared Service Centres to provide first-class services to Shell companies across the world. 4 centres are currently in existence in Glasgow, Guatemala, Kuala Lumpur and Manila. A 5th centre has been recently opened in Kraków providing services of accounting, procurement, HR service and data management functions for some Shell companies within Europe. This network provides a platform for large-scale specialist expertise and process knowledge to deliver operatinally excellent and robustly controlled processes. Currently we are looking for:Process ManagerReference number: PM/10/07This is a role that will manage the assigned process or sub-process to meet or exceed service levels agreed with each business unit as well as apply and maintain a high quality control framework and demonstrate continuous process improvement over time.The primary duties:
- Establishing and adhering to a strong internal controls environment to ensure the integrity of financial results and their adequacy to safeguard company assets Providing optimal process effectiveness and delivery on agreed service levels Responsibility for knowledge management: ensuring that knowledge sharing process is adequately recorded/documented and retained in the company Developing and fostering good working relationships with key internal and external customers Building and developing a culture of Customer Service Leading, managing, developing and coaching Team Managers who supervise a team of approximately 10-15 people Responsibility for planning employee recruitment, training, cross training, and retention.
- Master degree in Accounting or related business degree Minimum 8 years of relevant financial work experience Minimum 3 years of managerial experience with line responsibility for at least 20-30 staff members High level of practical knowledge and application of accounting and financial analysis principles Superior leadership skills with the ability to motivate and retain staff Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Computer Literacy ¥ Fluency in English BPO experience is an advantage
